How To Fix Your Frozen iPhone On The Spot

Difficulty: Easy Time Needed: 20 seconds

If you’ve ever been in the middle of a task when suddenly your iPhone stops responding, you understand how annoying and frustrating this problem can be. It can be caused by a variety of reasons such as an app or third-party software causing the phone to “freeze” or become unresponsive.

The good news is, this common problem can be fixed on the spot with a force restart described in the 2 easy steps below, and the best part is it works for a variety of iPhones!

A force restart ends all ongoing tasks on your iPhone; however, your data such as contacts and photos stay intact.

To begin, you need to locate the position of the Volume up/down button and the Sleep/Wake button on the iPhone. Here’s a picture to help you locate the buttons on your iPhone. The Side and Top buttons are also the Sleep/Wake buttons.
